TSB customers faced a frustrating morning as an outage locked them out of online and mobile banking accounts. The issue, which started around 6:30 am according to Down Detector, led to thousands of users reporting problems.
Disgruntled customers quickly took to social media to express their anger and disappointment, especially as the bank is currently reducing its high street presence.
TSB acknowledged the disruption on its website, stating, “We’re aware that customers are experiencing issues with our digital services. We’re sorry for any inconvenience and are working hard to resolve it.”
This incident comes on the heels of a similar outage experienced by high street rival NatWest, which also affected its mobile and online services just days ago.
